This striking lithographed tin robot is presented in its original blue finish and retains its original antenna, tools, winding mechanism and detailing. The robot is in exceptionally clean and original condition and is fully functional, with the sparking mechanism operating correctly. The lithography remains remarkably bright and well preserved, making this an outstanding example for the serious vintage robot collector. Accompanied by a reproduction box, together with a particularly charming piece of provenance: an original handwritten note by the young owner, dated March 16, 1962, preserved with the robot since that time.
