On the Bubble 47 Dragon is a more traditional take on the legendary creature. A unique blend of contemporary watchmaking and Chinese cultural heritage, the dial has a black sunray base complete with black lacquered clouds evoking the night sky where a dragon takes flight. The majestic dragon’s head and torso occupy the top half of the dial, with its claws seemingly cradling the Moon. Kudos to the brand’s attention to detail here as five-clawed dragons, like the one depicted here, were a symbol for Chinese emperors across many dynasties, and they were gold or yellow-coloured during the Qing Dynasty.
