15. ACCA XF 戰國時代-燕明刀，圓折, 背明兀，字口清晰/美麗綠繡，含證書
明刀，或稱易刀、明字刀，中國先秦時期鑄行於燕國和齊國的一類刀幣，刀幣正面有字符，錢文的釋讀有多種說法，有「明」、「易」、「匽」等。燕明刀的鑄行年代，多認為是在戰國時期，但也有學者認為其鑄行上限在春秋晚期，下限在戰國早期。錢幣學界共識為弧折明刀的鑄行早於磬折明刀，而磬折明刀鑄行於戰國晚期。對於齊明刀的鑄行年代，多認為是在戰國晚期，燕國大將樂毅攻伐齊國，占領了齊國大量城邑後鑄造的，在公元前284年至公元前279年間。張馳則認為齊明刀最早出現於戰國中期初年。這支刀幣即是經典燕明刀，年代極為久遠，中國此時尚未發展出統一的圓形幣，是很漂亮的刀行貨幣，且字口清晰，呈現美麗的綠鏽色，請喜歡的藏家切勿錯過。
15. ACCA XF Warring States Period - Yan Ming Knife, round tip, raised back, clear inscription / beautiful green patina, comes with certificate
The Ming knife, also called Yi knife or Ming character knife, was a type of knife-shaped currency cast in the Yan and Qi states during the pre-Qin period in China. The front of the knife coin features characters, the interpretation of which varies, such as “Ming,” “Yi,” or “Yan.” The coinage of the Yan Ming knife is generally believed to be from the Warring States period, though some scholars think it may date from the late Spring and Autumn period to the early Warring States period. Numismatists agree that the arc-tip Ming knife was produced earlier than the bell-tip Ming knife, with the latter minted in the late Warring States period. As for the Qi Ming knife, it is commonly believed to have been minted in the late Warring States, after Yan general Yue Yi attacked Qi and captured many of its cities, roughly between 284 and 279 BCE. Zhang Chi, however, suggests that the Qi Ming knife first appeared in the early middle Warring States period. This knife coin is a classic Yan Ming knife, very ancient. At that time, China had not yet developed uniform round coins. It’s a beautiful knife-shaped currency with clear inscriptions and a lovely green patina—collectors who like it shouldn’t miss out.
