This horizontal composition depicts a classical relief organised around a central circular medallion containing a draped portrait figure, flanked by winged figures and marine creatures. The palette is restrained, built on greys, warm beiges and muted mauve tones, with soft blue accents that define the recessed areas. Broad, confident brushwork replaces carved detail, giving the stone a painterly texture while preserving the depth and rhythm of the original relief.
