It is part of the Boisson-Vadot family estate, which is divided into three entities: the parents (Domaine Boisson-Vadot), the son (Pierre Boisson), and the daughter (Anne Boisson). It was within this precious heritage that Anne Boisson forged her identity as a winemaker, inheriting 1.5 hectares of vines spread across Meursault and Auxey-Duresses. Despite its low profile, this estate is a true gem of the Côte de Beaune. Meticulous in both the vineyard and the cellar, Anne champions a style of remarkable purity and precision. Careful sorting in the vineyard, light lees stirring (*bâtonnage*), extended aging (15 to 20 months), and a complete absence of filtration are the hallmarks of her signature style. Alongside her brother Pierre, Anne Boisson has established herself as one of the most promising names in the appellation. About the cuvée When her father retired, Anne Boisson divided the vines that had previously made up the Boisson-Vadot estate with her brother. The "Les Chevalières" parcel in Meursault became part of her holdings. Its name likely derives from the horses that grazed there in the Middle Ages or traveled along the nearby Roman road. Traditionally a cooler *terroir*, Les Chevalières has benefited from climate change in recent years, allowing for the production of wines that rival the quality of the best local *Premiers Crus*. Anne Boisson upholds the family tradition, maintaining exacting standards in viticulture, winemaking, and aging. The resulting wine displays a pale yellow hue and a delightful nose blending citrus and yellow fruit with gentle toasty notes derived from months of maturation in French oak barrels—some of which are new.
