The *tokkuri* (sake flask) features a full, rounded, goose-egg-shaped body with a short, constricted neck and a small, flared rim. The clay body is rugged and textured from the manual wheel-throwing process. Its coloration transitions from deep brown to a rich reddish-brown, accented by dark brown fire marks and golden-yellow kiln spots formed by natural ash deposits.
