Beautiful pair of decorative handwoven lidded baskets in the traditional African Agaseke / Rwandan-style form. The larger basket has a striking blue and cream/white geometric design with a tall coiled handle, while the smaller basket is woven in natural straw tones with deep green detailing and a pointed lid. Both have lovely handmade character, with tightly woven construction, attractive geometric banding and the slight irregularities and loose fibres you would expect from hand-crafted basketry.
