賣家描述
ceramic sculpture made of chamotte clay, fired to bisque, then glazed in the raku technique, manually signed on the underside with the author's initials - AM. The shimmering glossy black, like a coal lump, is the result of the raku technique, guaranteeing unique effects in ceramics.
The figurine accommodates a tealight candle, giving it a fiery red hue. It also can hold three incense sticks.
Worth noting: the sculpture fired above 1000°C can easily stand outdoors - it is resistant to changing weather conditions.
Gaia - mother of Earth and all living things - emerged from Chaos, thus she was one of the oldest deities (Protogenoi). By itself she bore the Mountains (Ourosi), from her love and Eter (Aether) comes the Sea (Pontos). In every period of mythology Gaia appears in various forms, embodying fertility and motherhood.
The author of the sculpture is Adela Marchewka, graduate of higher studies in plastic arts with a Master of Arts degree. After studies she explored batik (wax painting) techniques and attended the Open Academy at the Sculpture Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. She has participated many times in the National Ceramic Outdoor Workshop “Azymut Chrzęsne” and in numerous exhibitions. Member of the Polish Association of Visual Artists.
Shipping with tracking number. Package size - average. The sculpture will be carefully protected and shipped in a sturdy package within 3 business days. Personal collection is possible.
