Vintage “Machine Robot”, manufactured in Japan by Horikawa around 1963. This charming and highly collectible tin robot features an eye-catching arrangement of large and small rotating gears visible through its transparent chest panel. The robot is in good overall cosmetic condition for its age. The transparent chest panel has two small cracks, as shown in the photographs, and the on/off button is missing. The battery compartment is clean. Importantly, the robot is in working condition: the legs and arms move, the head and chest illuminate, and the internal gears rotate.
