The raised “1999 Limited Edition” emblem, No.0382 marking and heavily aged silver-tone surface immediately caught my eye. The scratches and patina give it a properly used-in feel, while the numbered commemorative design is exactly the sort of detail collectors notice at auction. [Appearance] A numbered 1999 Limited Edition Zippo with a large raised “1999 Limited Edition” emblem on the front and “No.0382” stamped above it. This one has plenty of honest age to it. The silver-tone surface shows widespread scratches, rubbing, tarnish, discoloration and spotting, with particularly noticeable wear around the edges and lower portion of the case. On the positive side, that aged finish gives the lighter plenty of vintage character, and the raised 1999 emblem remains strong and clearly defined. The case also features simple diagonal engraved accents near the corners. The bottom is stamped “ZIPPO,” “BRADFORD, PA. MADE IN U.S.A.” and date-code markings.
