The warm brass tone, “No.0335” numbering and engraved chain-and-figure design immediately caught my eye. There are plenty of honest handling marks, which give it that used-in-daily-life feel I like. The numbered Limited Edition marking and dated 2000 base make it an easy piece for collectors to notice at auction. [Appearance] A nice gold-tone Zippo with a simple but distinctive Limited Edition design. The front is engraved with “Zippo,” individual number “No.0335,” a chain motif and a small figure, with “LIMITED EDITION” along the lower edge. I particularly like how the silver-colored engraved areas stand out against the warm brass surface—it gives the lighter plenty of character without making the design too busy. There are numerous fine scratches, rubbing, small marks and some deeper nicks from age and use, especially around the bottom and edges. The finish also shows uneven wear in places. On the positive side, the warm aged tone suits this design very well, and the main engravings and individual number remain clearly visible. The bottom is stamped “Zippo,” “BRADFORD, PA.
