An elegant set of two polished Orthoclase Feldspar specimens from Madagascar, composed of a slender geometric prism and a substantial freeform. Together they showcase the mineral’s warm and delicate colour palette while offering two very different sculptural interpretations of the same natural material.
Both specimens display attractive shades of salmon pink, soft peach, cream and beige, combined with subtle grey-green areas and scattered darker mineral inclusions. The colours merge naturally through the stone, while the polished surfaces reveal crystalline textures and gentle variations in translucency that become particularly visible under direct light.
The prism has a tall, architectural shape with carefully polished faces and a pointed termination. Its elongated proportions emphasize the distribution of the pink and peach tones throughout the mineral and give the specimen a clean, contemporary appearance. It measures 23.5 × 5.4 × 4.9 cm and weighs 860 g.
The larger specimen has been shaped as a polished freeform, retaining a softer and more organic silhouette. Its broad surfaces reveal extensive areas of pale pink and warm beige feldspar, together with naturally distributed darker inclusions that add depth and contrast. It measures 18 × 12 × 4.7 cm and weighs 1,870 g.
