Signed "Chikuzan" (竹山) with seal, by the celebrated Japanese scholar-painter and calligrapher Takada Chikuzan (高田竹山, 1861–1946). Fitted with white resin roller ends (jiku-gashi). Second Scroll: Features "Lychee and Songbird", beautifully mounted with fine silk borders. Inscribed with poetic calligraphy, signed "Oshima" (黄島) with the artist's seal reading "Yuiko" (唯子).
