The stainless-steel case, featuring the characteristic design of the period, measures approximately 40 mm excluding the crown. It features a striking blue sunburst dial with gold-tone applied hour markers and hands, together with a day-date display at 3 o'clock. Important originality disclosure: The watch case reference is 6309-8840. The fitted dial is marked JAPAN 6309-7210 T and is a genuine Seiko-manufactured dial. Therefore, the dial is not an aftermarket or reproduction part; however, it is not the original matching dial for the 6309-8840 case reference and appears to have been fitted in the past from another Seiko 6309 reference. This is explicitly disclosed for complete transparency and can also be clearly seen in the detailed photographs. The watch has been recently serviced. The automatic movement is running properly and keeping accurate time. A new blue leather strap, selected to complement the blue dial, has been fitted to the watch. The strap is unused.
