An enamel sign produced in the 1930s, featuring a famous graphic design by Lajos Csabai Ékes. It was commissioned by the Budapest-based ALBUS soap factory for their product marketed under the brand name "HARANG" (Bell). The sign was manufactured at the Bonyhád Enamel Factory. Csabai (1896–1944) worked in a distinctive Art Deco/Bauhaus style.
The sign has had a rough history; the flanged edges have been bent outward in three places for unknown reasons, and the right corner shows significant corrosion. Despite this, with its fiery, vibrant colors, large scale, and modernist forms, it remains a striking mural-like piece. It is a rare item, nearly a century old.
