Nikon Micro-Nikkor 55mm F3.5 + M2 Extension Ring Serial Number: 860375 Thank you very much for viewing this classic Nikon Micro-Nikkor lens. This generation of the Micro-Nikkor 55mm F3.5 was introduced in May 1975 as part of Nikon's updated Nikkor lens design. The Micro-Nikkor 55mm series became highly regarded for close-up and copy photography, while its 55mm focal length also gives it a natural perspective for general photography. The lens focuses down to high magnifications on its own, while the included M2 extension ring provides additional extension for even closer photography. Its long, precise manual focusing movement is especially useful when carefully adjusting focus on small subjects, documents, details, and other close-range work. This is also an interesting classic Nikkor for collectors because the 55mm F3.5 Micro-Nikkor optical design remained an important part of Nikon's lens system for many years. ■ Appearance There are only minor signs of normal use and light surface wear.
