Very rare Japanese World War II-era Wound Badge Sen Sh, Shoigunsho (gilt and the rarest version)
This is an extremely rare variant. It is distinguished by the fact that the entire badge is gilded on both sides. The standard first version features a silver finish, whereas the second version has only very light gilding on the petals and the samurai's face on the obverse. This particular specimen is being offered for sale for the first time in many years.
The last two photographs are for reference only (only one badge is being sold).
The badge was instituted in 1938 and awarded to soldiers who were wounded at the front and demonstrated courage.
The medallion depicts the famous samurai Kusunoki Masashige.
This samurai was a legend and died on the battlefield in the 13th century and lived according to the bushido code.
A wonderful honorary medal for proven bravery on the battlefield
Parcel will be carefully packaged and shipped by registered mail with insurance and tracking code.(I do not combine shipping)
England buyers need to pay extra money for customs in your own country
