正面：阿拉伯文铭文，按三行写着 الملك الكامل ناصر الدنيا والدين محمد（“al-Malik al-Kamil, Nasir al-Dunya wa’l-Din Muhammad”），置于方形边框内，边框由线条和点阵组成；周围环绕着铸地与日期铭文。
背面：阿拉伯文铭文，按三行写着 الإمام الناصر لدين الله أحمد أمير المؤمنين（“al-Imam al-Nasir li-Din Allah Ahmad, Commander of the Faithful”），置于方形边框内，边框由线条和点阵组成；周围有信仰声明铭文。

al-Kamil Muhammad I 自公元1218年至1238年统治埃及，是阿尤布王朝的领军人物。他与弗里德里希二世皇帝的外交促成了1229年的条约，将耶路撒冷归还给基督教控制，同时保留穆斯林对其主要圣地的拥有权。他的迪拉姆铸名载明阿巴斯王朝哈里发与阿尤布王朝统治者并列，表达了宗教正当性与世俗权力之间的联系。
