Antico Epergne Centrotavola in Vetro Boemo Decorato a Mano – Circa 1900
• Altezza totale: 36 cm circa
• Diametro della ciotola di base: 22 cm
• Periodo: Circa 1890-1910
• Origine: Boemia (Repubblica Ceca)
• Condizioni: Ottime condizioni generali d'epoca.
Antique Bohemian Art Glass Epergne Centerpiece, Hand-Painted – Circa 1900
A stunning and elegant two-piece hand-blown art glass epergne (flower centerpiece) dating back to the Art Nouveau / Jugendstil period (circa 1900), finely attributed to the historic Bohemian manufacture (Harrach / Moser).
The piece features a beautiful, vibrant apple-green color and showcases exceptional craftsmanship. Both the base bowl and the upper trumpet vase (flute) feature exquisitely crafted ruffled edges. The entire decoration is meticulously hand-painted, displaying delicate violets in thick white relief enamel, enriched with genuine gold leaf stems, winding tendrils, and a decorative row of raised enamel dots around the central bulb.
The underside of the base retains the original hand-written catalog number 49. from the period, used by the factory to match the corresponding components. The rough pontil mark is also clearly visible on the bottom, proving that the item was entirely hand-blown.
• Total Height: Approx. 36 cm
• Base Bowl Diameter: 22 cm
• Period: Circa 1890-1910
• Origin: Bohemia (Czech Republic)
• Condition: Excellent antique condition. The glass is completely intact, with no cracks, hairlines, or chips on the delicate ruffled rims. The white enamel remains vivid and crisp. There is minor, age-consistent wear to the gilding, which enhances its authentic historical charm and character.
The item will be packed with professional care using specialized protective materials for fragile glass, and shipped via tracked and insured delivery.
