This Gawu box is made using traditional Tibetan white copper hammering and carving techniques. The box body is in the shape of an arched niche, and the central niche is embedded with protective glass, which not only allows a clear view of the Buddha statue inside, but also properly protects the statue. The outside of the niche is decorated with eight auspicious treasures in high relief, and the bottom is lined with patterns of auspicious animal heads. The copper surface has been worn for many years, forming a thick and natural patina and partial patina. The niche houses the traditional Tibetan Tsa Tsa Buddha statue. The statue is simple and concise, and it is a typical statue that Tibetan people carry with them as offerings. The matching cloth cover is hand-sewn from old brocade fabric and shaped using quilting technology. The cloth surface is woven with a traditional curly grass pattern. The cloth cover is equipped with copper flower buckles and extended laces, so it can be worn anywhere.
