An art glass bottle vase designed by Bertil Vallien for Boda Ateljé in the 1970s, model No. 282.

Made in iridescent purple art glass with a square profile and a textured lava finish around the shoulders and base.

Labeled Handmade Boda Sweden, and signed on the underside "Boda Ateljé B. Vallien 282".

Condition is lovely, with no chips, cracks, or breaks. Because of its irregular shape, it has a small wobble, but it stands straight and stable on its own. A gorgeous piece with wonderful color and texture.
