Rise captures the moment when dough rises above the rim of a pot. A soft beige seat emerges from a silver-finished surround, turning a familiar kitchen process into a sculptural chair. The reflective, irregular surface contrasts with the soft upholstered seat. Despite its metallic appearance, the chair combines wood, paper pulp and steel with flexible polyurethane foam, upholstery fabric and a synthetic rubber coating. Made by David Cap in 2026.
