The clock is equipped with a robust and highly collectable **Junghans W 278 mechanical movement** (8-day wind-up).
It features a two-train mechanism with a Bim-Bam strike system on a traditional large coiled gong wire.

* **Dial & Glass:** The original dial with Arabic numerals and stylized hands is in good visual condition. The chrome bezel and curved glass cover open and close smoothly.
* **Movement:** The brass movement plate is clean, corrosion-free, and clearly stamped with the authentic Junghans 8-pointed star logo, caliber markings, and the production date code **34 9** (September 1934).
* **Missing Parts:** The pendulum rod and bob (lens) are missing from the suspension fork. The clock will need a compatible replacement pendulum to maintain proper oscillation. No winding key is included.
