Maison Pierre DeRoche was born in the early 2000s under the impetus of Pierre Dubois, a direct descendant of the founders of the famous complication manufacture Dubois Dépraz. The Concentric Chronograph is first calibre in the world to display hours, minutes and seconds on a single counter was born out of the desire to invent a new, intuitive way of reading stopwatch time. Instead of scattering information across multiple counters, the master watchmakers imagined stacking the hour, minute and second hands of the chronograph on a single axis. This technical feat allows the measured time to be read in the same way as the current time.

Crafted in stainless steel, the rectangular case displays dimensions of 46 mm in height and 32 mm in width. Its stepped lines and cylindrical attachments frame a sumptuous bezel. Beneath the sapphire crystal, the silver dial is adorned with delicate central guilloché. The architecture of the dial reveals a small seconds counter positioned at 12 o’clock, a discreet date aperture at 3 o’clock and the famous concentric chronograph counter at 6 o’clock. The sapphire caseback reveals the self-winding mechanical movement, an exclusive Dubois Dépraz calibre incorporating 39 jewels and beating with a 42-hour power reserve.
