A Sculptural Masterpiece from the 1950s: The Captivating Elegance of Cobalt Blue Satin Glass

A spectacular sculptural vase depicting a carp with its mouth open, this masterful piece embodies all the poetry and audacity of 1950s design.
Its hypnotically deep cobalt blue catches the light with a mesmerizing intensity. Thanks to the meticulous work with frosted and satin-finished glass, the relief of the scales and the delicacy of the fins take on an almost lifelike dimension under the luminescent reflections.

An organic, generous, and highly decorative silhouette that immediately draws the eye in any contemporary, vintage, or Mid-Century interior.

The satin finish provides a velvety softness to the touch, offering a striking contrast to the brilliance of its base.

A piece of character, a classic animal subject sublimated by the bold aesthetic of mid-20th-century art glass.

Period: 1950s (Mid-Century Modern)

Subject: Carp / Pufferfish
Material: Frosted/satin-finished glass, colored throughout
Color: Intense Cobalt Blue

In good condition, with some signs of wear due to age (see photos)
