The vessel has an elegant elongated form with a broad pear-shaped body, long narrow neck, prominent decorative rings and a removable domed cover with a shaped decorative finial. The main body is decorated with four large figural panels, each enclosed within an ornate Persian-style arched frame. The panels depict traditional banquet and gathering scenes, with groups of seated and standing figures rendered in detailed costume and surrounded by stylised architectural and landscape elements. One of the most distinctive features is the pronounced raised relief work. The borders surrounding the figural panels and the principal ornamental motifs stand noticeably above the densely worked background, creating a clear difference in height and a strong three-dimensional effect. The spaces between the four main panels are filled with intricate floral, arabesque and geometric motifs, while the recessed backgrounds are densely worked with cross-hatching, punching and fine texturing. Decorative bird and vegetal motifs continue around the shoulder and neck. The decoration combines hand chasing, engraving, punching and raised relief work, producing a richly textured surface throughout the vessel. The underside is also decorated with a large engraved geometric-floral rosette. The removable upper section continues the same decorative style with arched ornamental panels and finely worked surface decoration.
