An authentic vintage Arai motocross helmet featuring the iconic Jeff Stanton racing design from the golden era of American Supercross.

This helmet was personally purchased new by its current owner in the early 1990s, most likely around 1992, and has remained in the same ownership ever since.

A genuine period piece, not a modern reproduction.

Jeff Stanton is one of the most celebrated riders in American motocross history.

Riding for the legendary Honda factory racing team, Stanton dominated the sport during the late 1980s and early 1990s, securing six AMA championships, including three AMA Supercross titles.

His distinctive racing equipment and helmet designs became instantly recognisable among motocross enthusiasts.

Originality and Provenance

The helmet was purchased new by the current owner approximately 34 years ago and has never changed ownership.

It retains its original exterior paintwork, period racing graphics, detachable chin guard, cheek pads and interior lining. And has stickers on both sides.

Only the foam padding in the upper interior section has been replaced.

The original Japanese manufacturer’s labels remain present, confirming its Arai manufacture.

Condition

The helmet is presented in vintage used condition, with signs of age and use consistent with its history.

The original exterior graphics and distinctive colour scheme remain clearly visible.

There are some surface scratches, minor marks and age-related wear.

The original cheek pads and interior lining are still present. Only the upper interior foam padding has been replaced.
