Lenci Torino Italian 1930s Rare Hand-Painted Porcelain Box A charming and highly decorative example of Lenci production, featuring a vivid hand-painted urban scene with colourful buildings, figures and a small carriage against a glossy black ground. The stylised composition is characteristic of the playful and modern Italian design associated with Lenci during the interwar period. The underside bears the original Lenci / Made in Italy / Torino factory mark, together with painted production markings. The box is made of glazed ceramic/porcelain and consists of a fitted rectangular base and lid with softly rounded corners.
