賣家描述
Interesting bronze sculpture depicting an eight-armed Hindu female deity (associable with Durga / Mahalakshmi iconography) standing in balance (Samabhanga).
The deity, with multiple hands, holds traditional sacred attributes (including the conch Sankha, the discus Chakra, and the lotus Padma). The head is adorned with a rich crown (Kiritamakuta) and the body is embellished with traditional jewelry and broad rigid drapes at the hips. The statue rests on a circular raised base with perforated petal motifs.
Crafted using the lost-wax technique, the sculpture shows a pleasant dark-bronze patina with slight signs of natural oxidation that enhance its vintage/antiquarian appearance.
Weight: 1050 grams. Height: 22 cm. Base width: 10 cm.
