賣家描述
Elegant porcelain white glazed vase, made by the prestigious Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin (KPM), a historic Berlin manufactory founded in 1763 on the initiative of Frederick the Great and still regarded among the most important European porcelain manufactories.
The vase features a truncated-conical shape, of great geometric purity, set on a narrow base that harmoniously widens toward the upper part. The result is a slender vase with a rigorous and minimalist character.
The surface, entirely white and decoration-free, enhances the quality of the porcelain and the softness of the silhouette. The absence of ornaments is particularly meaningful in KPM production, which in the 20th century developed a strong focus on pure, functional forms and a modernist lineage: in the 1930s, under the direction of Günther von Pechmann, the manufactory was indeed influenced by the principles of Neue Sachlichkeit (New Objectivity) and modern design.
Excellent overall condition, minimal chip on the foot, invisible when the vase is placed, shown in the photograph.
Measurements 16.5×20.5 cm.
