This cylindrical brass tea caddy is delicately engraved with a traditional Chinese literati scene, featuring pine trees, rocks, bamboo and a scholar reading in a hut. Classic Hui geometric patterns decorate the top and bottom rims. It serves as a practical container for tea leaves, as well as an elegant desktop ornament with antique oriental charm.
