Vintage Leather Pouf/Stool — Repurposed Gymnastics Vaulting Horse, Poland, 1972

A genuinely rare and characterful pouf/stool made from the leather-topped section of an old gymnastics vaulting horse, Poland, 1972. Retains its original brown leather upholstery with honest scuffs, scratches, and patina from decades of gym use, including old chalk/number markings to the underside. The original manufacturer's metal plate survives on the underside, reading "Warszawskie Zakłady Sprzętu Sportowego" (Warsaw Sports Equipment Factory), Warsaw, ul. Konopacka, dated 1972. The reverse shows the original riveted leather edging and mounting sleeves once used to fix the horse to its stand. A genuinely unique, one-of-a-kind gym-to-furniture conversion piece.
