賣家描述

We are proud to present a highly attractive and deeply charismatic vintage time capsule from the golden era of Swiss watchmaking: a classic Lanco Antimagnetic manual-wound gents wristwatch from approximately the 1940s/1950s. This timepiece features a highly sought-after, military-influenced "Tuxedo" style sector dial with a prominent sub-second register at 6 o'clock, driven by a genuine, beautifully preserved in-house Lanco Manufacture movement.

Historical Collector's Context (The Heritage of Langendorf Watch Co.):
Founded in 1873 in Langendorf, Switzerland, the Langendorf Watch Company (producing under the famous Lanco brand) was once celebrated as one of the largest and most innovative vertically integrated watch manufacturers in the world. Renowned for engineering their own components and robust in-house calibers completely under one roof, vintage Lanco timepieces from this era are highly respected by horologists for their mechanical integrity, exceptional reliability, and honest Swiss craftsmanship.

Charismatic Two-Tone Dial & Classical Geometry:
The watch immediately draws the eye with its exceptional two-tone cream and black sector dial (often referred to by collectors as a "Tuxedo dial"). The outer dark track features elegant gold-toned Arabic numerals and precise track markers, creating a wonderful architectural depth. Over the decades, the original face has developed a rich, authentic historical vintage patina that tells an honest story of its lifetime. The presentation is elevated by matching gold-toned syringe-style hands and a beautifully proportioned sub-second register at the 6 o'clock position. The chrome-plated case measures a prominent and versatile 35 mm (excluding the crown) x 40 mm lug-to-lug, topped by a flawlessly clear, pristine, and scratch-free crystal.

Technical Condition & Authentic Presentation:
Inside this watch beats a genuine 15 Jewels in-house Lanco manual-wound mechanical caliber, proudly signed by the manufacturer (Lanco, 15 Rubis, Swiss Made). The movement is housed under a traditional, clean stainless steel snap-on caseback, which features hand-engraved service markings from past horological maintenance (including a visible historic notation).

• Operational Status:
The watch is in fully operational condition, winding smoothly, ticking continuously without stalling, and keeping time well within the expected manufacturing standards for a vintage mechanical caliber of this vintage generation. Sold without formal modern service records.

• Strap & Accessories:
The timepiece comes fitted on its original 17 mm Barex pull-through strap, preserving its authentic historical look and adding true period-correct character on the wrist.

Specifications:
• Brand: Lanco (Langendorf Watch Co. - Historic Swiss Manufacture)
• Model/Style: Tuxedo Sector Dial Dress Watch with Sub-Seconds
• Period: Vintage Era (Circa 1940s / 1950s)
• Movement: Manual winding mechanical, genuine in-house Lanco Caliber (15 Rubis)
• Movement Layout & Condition: Factory clean, signed by manufacturer, robust daily ticking action
• Functions: Hours, minutes, decentralized sub-seconds at 6 o'clock
• Case Material: Chrome-plated metal chassis with traditional wear
• Case Dimensions: 35 mm (excluding crown) x 40 mm (lug-to-lug)
• Caseback: High-grade Stainless Steel, traditional snap-on type (featuring internal artisan watchmaker markings)
• Crystal: Premium acrylic crystal, absolutely flawless, clean, and scratch-free
• Strap: Authentic original vintage 17 mm black Barex pull-through strap

Condition Report:
• Case & Body: Honest vintage condition showing genuine signs of wear and age-related use on the chrome plating primarily along the bevels and edges, preserving its authentic, unpolished vintage character.
• Dial & Hands: The original two-tone dial displays a pronounced, uniform vintage patina and minor spotting accumulated over decades of existence. The gold-toned hands and indices remain sharp and legible.
• Mechanical Condition: Mechanically sound, fully functional, and running continuously. The movement winds easily and keeps accurate time within historical factory standards. Sold without recent modern service history or warranty.
• Water Resistance: Antique vintage watch, not tested. Water contact should be strictly avoided.

Please keep in mind that these historical mechanical wristwatches are described exactly as they are, based on their condition verified during cataloging. Given the lack of service history records, it is not possible to guarantee accurate timekeeping, power reserve, or water resistance. These features cannot be guaranteed due to wear on parts caused by age, historic lubricants, changes in temperature and pressure, shocks, and position changes during transport or wearing. This piece is sold as a collectible and investment item, so to get the most out of its potential and ensure long-term reliability, regular check-ups and adjustments by a watchmaker are recommended.

"Important shipping restriction: Please note that due to strict regulatory and tax administrative complications regarding the EU SME scheme (Small Business Scheme) and specific customs regulations, shipping to Poland and Spain (including the Canary Islands, Ceuta, and Melilla) is strictly unavailable. Bids from buyers residing in these regions cannot be fulfilled, and orders will be canceled. Thank you for your understanding."
