An exceptionally rare Beaumont steel cash box dating to circa 1900-1910, featuring magnificent, intricate and dinstinctive engraving across the lid and a beautifully developed natural patina that gives the surface remarkable depth and character. These engravings on the lid are very rare and differ from the more common engravings on Beaumont Strongboxes. The exceptionally unusual blue-painted interior, instead of the more commonly encountered red, makes this a particularly distinctive Beaumont example. The combination of elaborate engraving, aged patina and rare blue interior gives this antique a truly individual character. Accompanied by its working lock with two keys and original carrying handle. Good antique condition, with age-related wear, scratches, paint loss and signs of use consistent with its age, as shown in the photographs. The item will be carefully packaged and securely shipped with Track & Trace.
