ALMOST SOMETHING Built around three points of contact with the ground, the sculpture rises into a long vertical structure that opens into two opposing planes. Its form changes markedly as the viewer moves around it. Elements that appear separate from one angle merge from another; openings disappear, new ones emerge, and the silhouette repeatedly suggests forms that never become fully identifiable. The sculpture remains somewhere between recognition and uncertainty — almost something, but never only one thing. Built directly in welded iron, the work retains visible welds, irregularities, polished areas and traces of heat as part of its surface. The sculpture will be carefully packed to ensure safe transport and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist. Instagram: @gallerycornenuham Web: cornenuham.com
