Set of Fossil Cretaceous Sawfish Teeth - Onchopristis numides - 5.8 to 7.4 cm (3) 3 beautiful and rare teeth of Onchopristis numides from the Kem Kem in Morocco. Onchopristus is an extinct giant sawfish. The teeth of this sawfish are found in the same formation as teeth of dinosaurs, such as the enormous Spinosaurus. This sea monster injured its prey with a quick swipe of its saw blade after which it ate the prey on the bottom of the sea. The teeth have a very special and characteristic shape. The teeth were broken in the layer in which they were found and were then glued. The resulting crack has been filled up a little. They have a wonderful deep brown patina.
