This striking ceramic vase by Morino Hiroaki Taimei(森野泰明) features a clean cylindrical form with softly rounded shoulders and a small circular opening. The surface is covered in a vivid turquoise matte glaze, dramatically contrasted by an earthy brown vertical band that flows from the rim down the body. Speckled and crater-like kiln effects within the brown areas add depth and tactile richness. The restrained form, bold color contrast, and controlled asymmetry reflect Morino’s modern approach to Japanese ceramic art, combining traditional material sensibility with a distinctly contemporary sculptural aesthetic. Packaged and sent by Japan Post depends on the situation.
