This is a solid copper sculpture of a galloping horse, capturing the animal in full stride. It features dynamic limbs, a mane and tail swept back by the wind, and realistic, fluid musculature that conveys a spirited and vigorous demeanor. The surface displays a reddish-brown bronze base accented with mottled gilding; years of handling have developed a warm, rich patina that feels smooth to the touch. It is in excellent condition, making it an ideal decorative piece for a study or tea room.
