For sale is an original Shell enamel sign, produced between 1948 and 1960. A large-format petrol station sign from the golden post-war era of motoring.

    Height/Width: 150 x 55 cm

    Weight: approx. 9 kg

Description:

    Authentic, unrestored piece

    Around 80 years old

    Strong, thick enamel coating

    Solid, heavy-gauge metal

    Rust spots and signs of wear present

    Back side was coated with anti-rust paint many decades ago

    Front side had once been covered with blue paint, which was removed many years ago

    Bright colors still well preserved

    100% original

Condition:
Unrestored, with natural patina. Visible signs of age and use, but overall in very good condition considering its size and age.

Special note:
Rare opportunity to acquire a large and heavy original Shell sign from the early petrol station era. A true highlight for collectors of automobilia, vintage advertising, or petroliana.
