The Disco Volante wine from the Concaentosa winery is a Sardinian white wine IGT (Isola dei Nuraghi) produced with Vermentino grapes from Alta Gallura. The nose has aromas of Mediterranean scrub, such as honeysuckle, wild lavender, broom and juniper resin, while on the palate there are notes of wild Gallurese apple, white myrtle and almond. It is a structured, unique and sophisticated wine, which expresses the identity of the ancient clones of Vermentino of Northern Sardinia, and has been marketed at record prices, becoming the most expensive white in Italy.
