Dutch airline KLM began issuing these miniature bottles shaped like the famous Dutch houses in 1952. These KLM houses were gifts given to passengers on KLM Business Class flights and are now collected by people all over the world. The houses were filled with very old gin. Due to unfair competition, airlines were prohibited from giving gifts to their customers. Therefore, the bottles were intended for use on the plane, but passengers took them home. These days, the houses have become collector items. The sizes of the houses are all different, but measure approximately 110×50×50 mm. Some houses are higher and some are wider.
