This Antique Anglo Indian Box is constructed from a real solid sandalwood. All sides are extravagantly hand carved, except the bottom surface which is plain and smooth with four legs. (Please see the images). Inside is lined with blue silk material. The lid is very nice fit to the box. The lid is attached to the box with lovely 2 brass hinges. The outer dimensions of the box measures approximately 21.0 cm (8.25'') (Length) x 10.7 cm (4.25") (Width) x 7.6cm (3") (Height).
