The clock rests on a separate, matching veneered base with gilt bronze trim and feet, enhancing its presence and elegance.
The white enamel dial is signed A. Liénard F. (Paris), with Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic numerals for the minutes. It is fitted with finely worked gilt brass hands.
