Hanging lamp designed by Fritz Schlegel for Lyfa Danish architect Fritz Schlegel designed this bell-shaped lamp for Lyfa in 1938. It is called P295, but is better known as the Schlegel lamp. It was produced for more than four decades. This example is made of solid brass. The lamp has a diameter of 44 cm and a height of 30 cm. It comes with its original integrated ceiling cup and height adjustment, both of which are made of soft and malleable brass, unlike the lampshade itself, which is hard and strong. New white cord fitted. They are without dents and not crooked, and the brass has a beautiful patina (we have not attempted to polish it to a shine). A work of art and a true eye-catcher. Sold without bulb (has a standard E26/E27 porcelain socket). Packed securely and shipped with insurance.
