A huge fan of modern art, he is also a wellspring of culture concerning all the currents of contemporary art. In this respect, Squizzato deliberately places himself in a current known as “New Constructivism”. His ultra-mastered, highly constructed painting is nonetheless a form of onirism; it is an allegory that does not speak its name. He took on major themes, such as “kissing”, and developed this theme ad infinitum, thus creating his allegories!
