With a German text booklet For over ten years, from 1990 to 2001, Kai Wiedenhöfer lived and photographed in the region. His photographs are characterized by their close connection to the people they depict. They tell of the everyday lives of children, women, and men, the victims and fighters of the Intifada, and of the fierce struggle against the occupation. "Perfect Peace" expresses the hopes and disappointments of a region that can only find peace through mutual understanding.
