Gachō (Painting Album) is a rare early art book by Tadanori Yokoo, published in 1981 by Bijutsu Shuppan-sha. This volume marks Yokoo’s transition from his internationally renowned graphic design career to his later identity as a fine artist and painter. The book features more than 200 works, including paintings, prints, and drawings—many previously unpublished. It also includes several fold-out (gatefold) pages that open to reveal Yokoo’s large-scale compositions in striking detail.
