Artist: Tsurusawa Tanryu鶴澤探龍 (c. - 1855), a painter of the Edo period, was the son of the renowned painter Tsurusawa Tansaku鶴澤探索 (1729 - 1797). He once served the Bakufu regime. The Itabashi Art Museum houses his landscape paintings. The signature on the wooden box was recorded by an artist collector in 1849.
