Stylish Art Deco coupe or centerpiece bowl with geometric handles. Val Saint Lambert (Belgium), from the "Luxval" collection, produced in the 1930s (specifically appearing in the 1935 catalogue). This line was designed by Charles Graffart and René Delvenne. Classic Art Deco design characterized by its streamlined shape, faceted sides, and distinctive, angular "ear" handles. The geometric aesthetic is typical of the interwar period Belgian design. Material & Color: Pressed glass in a beautiful "Fumé" (Smoked / Grey) shade. This color was very popular during the Art Deco era and provides a sophisticated, neutral tone that fits well in modern interiors. Condition: Good condition with normal signs of age. As with many pressed glass pieces from this era, there may be manufacturing irregularities such as small air bubbles or glass threads (hairlines) within the glass, which are not defects but characteristics of the production process.
