History & Heritage:
The Champagne house was founded in 1897 by Ernest Cazals, a cooper from the south of France, who settled in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger.
Today, it’s run by Delphine Cazals, the fourth generation of the family.
Vineyards:
The estate owns around 9–10 hectares of vineyards, all planted with 100% Chardonnay.
The parcels are located in some of Champagne’s top villages: Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, Vertus, and Villeneuve.
Terroir:
The soils are very chalky, typical of the Côte des Blancs, which gives the wines a strong mineral character.
Style & Philosophy:
Cazals champagnes emphasize purity, tension, and minerality over richness.
Recommended serving temperature: 9–11 °C for this bottle.
